Star Fish Bar Fish And Chips — Restaurant in England

We really like this place in Wellington, but guys the chips yesterday were awful. The fish was lovely, as it was freshly cooked, but not so the chips. They were dry and hard, and lukewarm. I can only describe them is as if they had been cooked and then kept warm for far too long, hence only 3 stars. No doubt we'll come again and can only hope this was just an "off" day.

We use this fish & chip shop regularly, and sometimes it can be a bit hit and miss. However, I have to say this evenings fish and chips were probably the best we’ve ever had… and we’re old! Also, we’ve been to Rick Stein’s chip shop in Cornwall and it wasn’t a patch on this. Whatever you all did today, keep doing it, because people will come far and wide to enjoy this quality!
