I ordered a flat white and a bag, and there were two staff members behind the counter. They served the two customers waiting for their drinks and then proceeded to make a couple of caramel drinks, yet neither of them started preparing my coffee. Instead, one of them was loudly discussing personal relationships. Meanwhile, another employee, Claudia, came out to clean a table and the sugar stand before finally noticing me. When I approached the counter, she asked if she could help, and I told her that I was still waiting for my flat white.
Her response was dismissive, stating that I had "only been waiting for six minutes," but that she would make my coffee now. When she eventually handed me the cup, I had to remind her about my bag, as she seemed unaware of it. Upon opening my coffee to add sweetener, I realized that it was more like a regular coffee with milkâonly slightly over half fullârather than a proper flat white.
When I returned to show her that my drink was not what I had ordered and that it was incomplete, she responded by saying that she was "not here to be insulted." I found this response extremely unprofessional. Since when is asking for the correct order considered an insult? As a paying customer, I felt more disrespected than anyone else in this situation.
This kind of service is unacceptable, especially in an area where many office workers rely on quick and efficient service during their short breaks. The way customers are treated in this store is shameful, and it does not reflect the high standards I expect...
