Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in England

Tastes off/mouldy. I ordered a coffee from Uber eats, and this also happened with a drive thru order previously. The gingerbread latte can be the best gingerbread latte from any coffee chain (better than Costa and Caffè Nero) but recently I’ve had inedible (undrinkable?) gingerbread lattes from this Starbucks. I think something must be wrong with their syrups. I have just spent £6 for a coffee as a treat whilst I finish an assignment, and was looking forward to it. And it not only tastes like dirt/mould, (it smells great!) but now I’ve taken a few sips (I thought there was something wrong with me, but other people agree) I now have a bad stomach. I feel really bad saying this, because I am a regular at this Starbucks. Whenever I need a pick-me-up I’ll go to the drive thru and get one of the drinks/treats. The staff are friendly and lovely, and until the other day with the drive thru gingerbread latte (which I shrugged off as a one-off) I’d never had an issue. On the contrary, I’ve had nothing but lovely times (apart from waiting queues, but is not the staffs fault when 5 cars turn up at once lol!). What I’d like to do is just ring up the shop to let them know the issue, so they can figure out the issue, but you can’t ring the store, the number here just goes straight to the head Starbucks office, which tells you to go onto email/Twitter. So it leaves me here. In general, this place is great. Wonderful really, with friendly, lovely staff. But these two mouldy lattes, (after having such wonderful gingerbread lattes previously) has left a bad taste in my mouth (literally). The place serves a standard selection and quality of Starbucks, but prices are way above average whilst nothing really justifies them. I ordered regular drink and was served (and billed) for large. My drink was served in a mug with no tray, no spoon, milk was served in a paper espresso cup. Most of seating available on site is a low profile and substantially inconvenient to seat. Also music played in this place is somewhat annoying. Weston is not known for coffee shops selection, but there are better options as easy accessible from motorway as this one. It’s worth to mention that reg plates are scanned at the entry to this Shell premisses, the policy allows 30 mins stay, but Starbucks claims 90mins max parking time.
