Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in England

Weird customer service here initially. Arrived 16/07/24 at 3pm with two tired kids 2&7 after a swim session. My daughter knew she wanted a pink drink but wasn’t sure the name of it as her best friend’s mother usually buys it for her on their play dates. Explained to the young dark haired girl my predicament not knowing what we wanted to order but describing what my daughter likes. She initially explained what drinks it could be and when my daughter selected one I thanked her saying my daughter doesn’t like coconut. She explained the drink we had chosen did have coconut. I knew this wasn’t the one she was used to. I asked her to go through them again as we hadn’t picked the right one as my two year old was crying and I didn’t want to spend money on something my oldest daughter wouldn’t drink. She rolled her eyes through her hands up and said- someone else deal with her. And walked away.

I kind of laughed. I was so stressed dealing with two kids and wanting to spend money yet she was stressed after a one minute max interaction as their was no patience or understanding I was there with small people

James came over. Spoke directly to my 7 year old on what she wanted. Suggested what he thought it was. She was happy. I paid. It was the drink she wanted. James was so lovely and efficient and shouldn’t have to cover for staff who don’t have customer service skills. Please note I am northern Irish so my accent may have caused issues but I assume Centerparcs and Starbucks are used to dealing with people not from the specific location they are based in. If you were so stressed being asked what to order whilst I have two tired children with me I have major concerns for how you will manage if you have children yourself and try and get out and about! Easily one of the best starbucks i have been too. Clean, organised, very good staff and good drink quality. The team work well together aswell.
