Subway — Restaurant in England

HYGIENE ISSUE..... In general this Subway outlet is ok, however this morning was absolutely nothing short of horrendous. HYGIENE ISSUE....everybody knows brown rotten lettuce is a recipe for disaster, well clearly not according to the two young staff serving this morning, when I pointed out the lettuce was brown and slimy she replied to me 'well it's in date' !!! Regardless whether it's in date or not common sense should tell you it's brown slimy and rotten clearly ridden with bacteria, when I insisted that it was removed from the counter the next response I got was 'well its all we have' !!! I'm quite sure that when I left the store it would have been put back up for other customers. I'm not normally somebody that reviews so harshly but when it comes to hygiene and our health and safety as consumers I feel the need to. The customer service issue or 'lack of' is second in this review. If you do decide to purchase anything from here check the colour and quality of everything...

2 young girls serving, the one who made my missus one was fine and polite and made a good sandwich... however the one that did mine didnt really say much, gave me burnt bread, chicken teriyaki container was mostly empty so she scraped out as much sauce as she could and gave me barely any chicken, put the most pitiful amount of salad on it so I kept asking for more but aparently more is maby 2 strands of onion, long story short my £7 sandwich tasted like burnt salt and it got thrown away would not...

Good staff they changed what we wanted from are voucher. It's clean. I problem is the 30 min parking restriction. Food is never cold. They could do with some different salad like coleslaw, red pepper. Maybe offer sausage that would be great. You pay what you get for....
