Rutland Water Cruises — Attraction in Great Britain

Unfortunately this rating is not for the cruise itself as I was not able to enjoy it! The signage for that place is utterly terrible. The address takes you to the Rutland waters (which is beautiful for a picnic) and then you get one arrow pointing to the right that says the cruise is that way and then nothing! You had a group of people, all from different groups, walking and roaming around trying to find this place! We asked several staff and they had no clue either! They said it always runs late, that is because no one can ever find you. We missed the cruise and I was going to waste another hour for the next one and trying to find it in 30+ degree weather. Utterly disappointed as was supposed to be a treat for my 21st birthday and we couldn’t even find the place.

Thank you Sarah Matt and very attentive crew, for a wonderful evening cruise on Rutland water, on 12th August 2019, which is where our wedding celebrations were held, after our ceremony at Normanton church. All our guest have said how different and how much they enjoyed the Rutland Belle and Rutland water. Sarah provided a hearty Buffet, with locally sourced food. We were very fortunate that the weather was beautiful and an excellent way to watch the sunset. Our guests were delightfully entertained by guitarist Steve Bean, reccommed by Sarah and Matt. Thank you again for such a memorable wedding day, time went by too quickly. My husband and I will need to book onto the gin cruise to just enjoy it for ourselves. Kind regards Mr & Mrs...

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Rutland Cruises, aboard the Rutland Belle! The boat itself is lovely and offers fantastic views of Rutland Water – we especially appreciated how well the rutland belle is equipped, allowing large wheelchairs access to the lower inside deck and out on the bow of the boat.

What really made the trip special was how friendly and welcoming all the staff were. From the moment we booked to when we stepped off the boat, everyone was so helpful and cheerful. The commentary was interesting too!
