Tapenades — Restaurant in England

We booked a table at Tapenades after reading Their reviews online and we are so glad that we did. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. We had our two children with us and upon being presented with the menu, we were informed that the chef catered for children and they would add, swap or take anything away from the dishes to suit our children. Not that the chef would need to due to the variety of the menu. My husband and son went for the special dish... venison WOW I didn’t believe that meat could really melt in your mouth. I went for the halibut. It was cooked to perfection and was delicious. Each week they sample a new cheesecake, this week was banoffee pie. All I can say is OMG. Delicious. The lemon trio pud was out of this world. As we were visiting for the weekend, we asked the waitress for recommendations where to go and what to do with the children. Fantastic! I cannot recommend the food and service enough! We ordered from the online menu and the food was delivered at an agreed time to our holiday lodge. The food was hot upon arrival and they even managed to maintain the presentation in the serving pots which we could put straight on our plates which we had kept warm in the oven. For our lockdown wedding anniversary meal, she started with bread variety and I with crab. She had duck and I lamb. She had lemon tart and I apple crumble.

Common sense. Get the oven warm in advance. Heat your plates. Put the following courses in to keep warm while you enjoy the starter experience.
