Thai Orchid — Restaurant in England

Looking for a place for some non English food and a quick Google in the map found this rather hidden treasure :)

First and foremost, there's a public parking right next to the place. For some reason we missed that a few rounds until we notices it at the end.

OK... Starter was really good and appetizing. But beware with the Papaya salad. Taste great but it's a bit too spicy! That came from some one who loves "cili padi".

Mains are delicious and quite big portion. The pineapple fried rice was wonderful.

Would thoroughly recommend this place even for the most...

Amazing food, the staff are incredibly helpful even at the most busy times. We did get brought the wrong dish once, but they apologised and let us keep it free of charge while they got us the correct one! They even pointed out what is and isn't vegetarian on the set meals the people I was with ordered, so I knew what I could try if I wanted. The portion sizes are also very generous.

The vegetarian menu is probably the most varied one I've seen anywhere, and everything I had was delicious. I can't wait to visit again and try more of...

I have been thai orchid for around 5 years now. Its great every time with lovely friendly service. Always greeted with a smile, this what I also love about the friendliness of their culture.

The food is authentic Thai cuisine to a high standard but last night it has improved yet again with the authentic taste and is perfect. Very much must visited Thailand again but as a tourist it's more difficult to get good Thai food.

Actually looking forward to the kitchen being ripped out this week so I can eat Thai...
