Suave — Restaurant in England

I have been coming to Westbury for over 4 years to help a friend with child care. I used to enjoy going here for a few beers, meeting with friends and grabbing a curry.

For the last year the service, the atmosphere has gone down hill. The staff are not interested in serving you. They are nose deep on their phones. You have to rap on the bar top and raise your voice to get the staff to come round to the main bar.

They have regularly got my drinks order wrong, then get surly when you make them correct it. The bar husbandry in the care and cleaning of the pipes are woeful. As to the glasses, they are not the cleanest in town.

The toilets in the evening are awash.

It is now just a waiting room for those who are waiting for their food to be ready in near...

This bar really is Westbury’s hidden gem. The prices are fair, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are always friendly, welcoming, and quick with service. It’s spotlessly clean, and every visit has been a genuinely enjoyable experience.

I love coming here with friends – whether it’s sitting outside to watch the world go by or enjoying the great range of background music indoors, it always feels like the right spot to unwind. The drinks selection is impressive, and their cheese nights are a brilliant addition that make it stand out from anywhere else locally.

A review in two halves. As a wine bar this place is really good, 4*. The by the glass wines are more than just acceptable. We sampled a white and a red and both exceeded expectations.
