Last minute, we decided to visit Long Crendon and managed to secure a reservation at The Angel Dining Rooms for my birthday. What a wonderful decision it turned out to be!
I started with the vegetable tempura, and it was an absolute delight. The delicate sauce that accompanied it was superb, enhancing the flavor of each perfectly cooked vegetable. Every bite was mouth-watering and left us eager for the next course.
For the main course, I chose the sea bass served on creamy leeks and sliced potatoes. The dish was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. The flavors were rich and balanced, making it an unforgettable main.
To top off the evening, I had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was the perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic meal.
A special mention must go to Chef Trevor Bosch, who came out to check on our experience. His talent is evident in every dish, and it was a pleasure to meet him. Additionally, our young server, Stewart, was exceptional—attentive and professional, which is something we don't often find in London.
