The one of it not the best pub in Barnard castle Colin and his staff are some of the best people I have met my family used to drink here years ago the dales pony folk would always venture here after the show before it moved venue. Will always be calling in when I can. A place...

Friendly traditional pub plenty of locals., you might enter as a stranger but you definitely leave as part of the crowd and welcomed back as a regular as long as you were not being a idiot...
