We visited at a quiet time and really enjoyed our meal – the food was lovely and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made for a nice atmosphere.
The menu was a little limited when we visited, though it may have been after a busy lunch service. Coffee choices were also a bit restricted, with only cappuccino available.
The pub itself could do with a little TLC, especially in the men’s facilities. Portion size was really good and we got what was stated on the menu. Couldn't really see what was all the dipping sauce about especially when the cocktail sausages were drenched in honey. Would have preferred if one of the dipping sauces was swapped with some salad instead.
Otherwise, it was a...
