Adorable little cafe, definitely kids friendly with so many cute decorations, but we found more adults having a cuppa and dining in!! They accommodated my 7mo baby very well, he was so calm & settled and we get to have our lunch in relative peace. The afternoon tea is delicious, tasty sandwiches, yummy cakes, huge selection of tea. A lovely cafe with friendly personable staff. A great menu catering for all tastes from full homemade meals through to sandwiches & cakes etc. We chose off the specials board £8.95, I had the lamb pie with mash & mushy peas & my dining partner had the steak pie with chips & mushy peas, both were excellent & tasty, the pies were well filled with good chunks of meat, my gravy had a slight hint of mint. Great little cafe. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Coffee was very nice, it was great that we also got a biscuit with the coffee. These are very rarely given out now, but I think it makes a tremendous difference 👍 We had lunch at the cafe Cheese on Toast with beans, scrambled egg on Toast, Coronation Wrap and Bacon Egg roll.
