The Bridge Inn — Restaurant in England

Great local pub Great cider but treat it with respect 👍 Been popping in the last few Sundays while out for a walk with the wife and kids. This week the landlord looked at me and said "alright mate?" Then reeled off the drinks I'd had previously over the last month!!! To top it off when I asked about payment, he said "cash is still king in my book!!!" There's plenty of 'card only' bars in town could learn a lot from this...

I used to use this pub as a teenager back in the 70,s, i took my daughter for a drink there just before xmas, we walked in and it was as if I'd walked into a time warp, nothing had changed (in a good way) it was lovely, the memories started to flood back, and the best bit was that there was a 70,s CD playing in the bar, oh and the thatchers haze went...

Lovely pub,very local driven but a warm welcome to those from farther afield.Normal fare and facilities but that does not detract from this venue in any way.If your looking for hip and groovy,best find a high end establishment with tear inducing prices.lf you want value for money, characters and good service,give it a try,support local pubs...
