Eastern Flavours Indian Takeaway — Restaurant in England

This used to be my go-to Indian takeaway up until 3 years ago when another opened around the corner from where i live. Went back here the other day as my local was closed for the night and am sorry to say I had a dreadful, very expensive meal. I actually ordered less than usual for me and my partner which would usually come to £18ish at my local, but cost £27 for less food! It is such a shame as used to be fantastic. Naan bread tasted stale, almost mouldy. Jalfrezi just tasted of raw chilli, no flavour whatsoever. Rice came out of the container with a pool of water sloshing around the plate. Mango chutney (not sure if this is a different variation) was green! Not very appetising at all. I dont make a habit of writing bad reviews, but i do this in the hope that they recover their previously...

We ordered online for a birthday celebration and was informed at the time of ordering that it would be an hour for delivery. After an hour and a half, we still hadn't received our order so we called to find out what was going on. We were told that the driver was on his way and it should be with us in 2 minutes. Our order finally arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes after we placed the order. As expected, the food was cold, and the poppadoms were stale. It was also nearly 10pm so getting a bit late to enjoy the birthday celebrations by this time. We have emailed our concerns but have heard nothing back. I thought I would.give them a chance to put things right but they obviously don't care! If you want my advice, I would avoid Eastern Flavours. There are far superior Indian restaurants...

First time ordering from here in a very long time. We thought we would try it from our usual. It's definitely improved. But... The curry's left a large ring of oil around on the plates and u can taste the oil. We had three Different curry's. The nann was not what we ordered and also had oil on. We could not eat the onion bajhis due to just being soft balls of oil u could taste it and feel it in texture.

This is a shame as they are a walk away. We hoped the new take over would be amazing but unfortunately fail...
