Got into the cheese hall at 20:10 to go and watch the football with 4 friends, I met them in there, I was the designated driver for the I rarely drink alcohol. It had been twenty minutes and the Tottenham game was becoming very interesting. The owner of the pub come over to me and asked if I was buying a drink which I replied yes I just happened to lost track of time watching the football match, he then replied it’s not a youth club. I felt embarrassed, humiliated and felt I was being bullied into buying a drink, five minutes after he asked me again which I said I don’t appreciate being bullied into getting a drink when I was going to buy one. I was then told to leave the pub. My friends left as well. Part of the customers in the pub said they were also embarrassed by the way the owner spoke to me. I thought it was supposed to be friendly in there not to be bullied into...

Went to watch the football tonight (25th Nov) & the barmaid, who I now know to be called Kirstie Davies, urgently needs to go on a customer care skills course. Err, no I dont (& if you're that warm working behind the bar then maybe dont wear a jumper made of synthetic fibres?) Multiple paying CUSTOMERS forced to put their coats back on to keep warm because the barmaid is slightly above her station & thinks her priorities come first. We left before the game started &...

I'd point out that this was the warmest day of the year so far and despite were shorts we still looked presentable.

I'd add that the door man could only be described as arrogant at best about the issue.

The amusing thing was that the pub was almost empty compared to neighbouring pubs which were busy (none of which we had a problem enjoying...
