Further edit 2! Thought I would try again as friends were going and it was a lunchtime visit. Why did I bother! I don’t know who thought it was a good idea to have youngsters running the show. It’s worse than ever. The place was filthy and nobody was making any effort to clean it either. It was really bad, so much so I have reported to head office. Someone needs to come and take a look at what’s going on here. It’s really not a good example of a company with such good standing as Wetherspoon. The manager should be ashamed for allowing this level of filth. I definitely won’t be back again and await a response from head office.

Edit… after visiting friends and being in last night I can safely say I will not be back! Drunk people getting served, a man with a badly bloodied head allowed to wander freely, customers just having zero respect. I don’t feel that I would be comfortable here at the weekend again, as the atmosphere is like something is about to happen and I don’t feel that safe? it’s a shame as I’ve recently moved to Cornwall and live closer!

Very disappointed, we used to love coming here but it’s really gone downhill and is looking a bit tired. Staff don’t look happy and don’t seem to realise customers can hear their conversations about how they feel! Having said that, the service was fine, and the food was too, it just isn’t the same pub and the whole atmosphere feels depressing. Been a couple of times recently and had the same experience,...

I go here with my family. It's still newly fitted out and furnished It's spacious and clean inside. I've been to many J D spoons across the country and the one in Heston is the nicest I have been in. I Live fairly near and particularly enjoy their breakfast on occasion. The food is not expensive compared to similar establishments and my family have found the quality of the food acceptable. I'm not saying they are perfect as of course with a slightly lower cost menu you will lose some quality and people can make the odd mistake but we enjoy eating there and any problems we had were dealt with caring and in a friendly manner by the staff. No parking but there is a car park opposite through a 300 meter long walk way leading to a retail area and then past the sunken garden, a council building, more retail and car park, which is accessible by the road through a housing estate. My partner and I enjoy the free refill coffee machine and we have 4 children so its ideal as we regularly spend less than £ 45 to feed all of us for dinner in the early evening. This would typically include several drinks for all of us. I am happy...

Went in and asked for the disabled toilet key ( I walk with a crutch) got told to go upstairs I had to stand my ground and explain to them that due to an ongoing medical disability I find walking and going upstairs extremely difficult. I may be young but it still didn’t change how my mobility was. Then I went to order food and had cash on me like all the signs said to hear the staff slagging people off saying how thick and dumb they are because they hadn’t read the signs and got cash, Now everyone in the queue including myself had cash on them. Very rude and disrespectful people and will definitely not be going there again. These so called staff members need to be taught that every disability isn’t visible so not to judge a young person who was walking with a crutch. Now the food well what can I say I ordered smothered chicken and the bacon was barley cooked and the peas well I’m sure they skipped the water as they were hard and the chips where so dry I could barley swallow them staff weren’t bothered by this what a total shit show of a place that really needs to...

Very good 'Spoons' that is surprisingly bigger than you expect when you see the front ! Plenty of areas to sit including a fairly big area at the bottom of the stairs, a small outdoor ground garden & a rooftop terrace too ! Friendly bar staff, the lady with the blonde hair was very polite. Beers were OK, usual Wetherspoons food standard, my burger wasn't bad but it wasn't fantastic either ! Overall though one of the better Wetherspoons I've visited.

The disabled access isn't well signposted. But once you go down the ramp and enter the door. The disabled toilet is also on this floor. The toilet room is one of the best I've ever seen in a Weatherspoons! We used the app to order and it was efficiently delivered. Except the coffee...no taste of coffee at all. The carpet needs a good clean. All in all a good experience.

This was quite frankly one of the better Wetherspoons that I have visited. They've got some amazing terrace garden seating area, although the views aren't that great. The staff were clearly under pressure and could've been a bit more polite, but it was a busy day. No need to make bookings, just turned up on the day and had a great time!!
