I have eaten here before but tonight I ordered a takeaway. Some miscommunication obviously and I got chicken tikka rather than chicken tikka masala. This chicken was dry and horrible! Nothing like any chicken tikka main I’ve ever had before which usually comes with tomatoes and onions etc. I called and asked for a small pot of massala sauce which they then wanted to charge me £7 for. I told them to forget it. Never again The second photo is the chicken tikka main I got for £8.95. If I’d ordered tikka masala as I had meant to I think it would have been £1 more so I don’t know how they could charge £7 for sauce. Shocking!!

Tried this for the first time at the weekend for my birthday … 6 of us . The food was pretty good though my chicken dish from the specials had exactly 4 small chunks of kitchen in it . We took a portion home we did not eat and that was the same . Loads of veg, and 6 small half inch prices of chicken . For £12.50 for a special , that’s not very special to me . Service was lacking too . Attentive but just. Don’t know when to clear empty plates or take the menus away after taking the order … small things . On the basis 3 stars is average , it was very average .

As an Indian used to lots of different types of Indian food I was blown away by the lamb shank. The meat literally fell off of the bone, the flavour was authentically perfect and the right amount of heat. Too big for one person. Priced reasonably. Happily packed rest for lunch. Staff were friendly and well mannered. Would visit again for sure.

First time visiting this restaurant.

The starter was fine which was just basic poppadoms. The main course was chicken tikka with coconut rice. When the chicken tikka arrived, I thought they had given us a starter portion instead of a main course there was hardly any chicken there. I questioned this with the waiter and he confirmed that it was a main course. It looked like they’ve got a small course for one and split it between two of us. There were eight very, very small pieces and it would take about three pieces of chicken to make up a regular piece in most other restaurants.

The waiter agreed it looked small so brought out 6 more small pieces to be shared between us. This happened instantly in an empty restaurant which was surprisingly. No cooking time involved at all. Was this chicken precooked and warmed up?

The chicken it self had some flavour but was dry. The coconut rice was average.

Service was very slow, we had to chase the waiter to order and we had to go up to the till to pay the bill even though we asked to pay at the table. By the time we left the restaurant was still empty bar one or two people. This was on a Thursday night.

Not a restaurant, I’d recommend or return to. I’m also not surprised...

I recently dined at The Coriander with nine of my friends, and we had an exceptional experience. From start to finish, the service was impeccable, accommodating our large group with ease. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a night out with friends.

The highlight, of course, was the food. Every dish we ordered was bursting with authentic flavors and expertly prepared. The variety on the menu catered to all our tastes, from mild to spicy. Special mentions go to the butter chicken and the lamb biryani, which were absolute standouts.

The portion sizes were generous, and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Overall, The Coriander delivered a flawless dining experience that we all enjoyed immensely. Highly...

This is the 1st time I have placed an order with coriander as I have heard so many good things they was very busy and when my order arrived one of the dishes had leaked every where and the food was not very hot we had to put it in the oven. I called her restaurant and can I just say wow 🤩 5 star for customer service all the staff was brilliant and also the guy that delivered the food was amazing they said they would bring us the whole order again but we only needed the curry dish so they brought 2 fresh curry dishes and gave a refund for some of the money. They was fantastic we did not even have to wait long truly lovely people and I would highly recommend to order...
