The Corner House — Restaurant in England

Will not be going here again. After being regulars for quite some time and my partner actually working for the pub, I can only say, this place has gone downhill. I had to call the police regarding mine and my partner's safety due to another pub goer threatening to "knock us up and down the street"... The bar staff didn't like this because the pub goer was a friend of the bar lady, and so they barred us, this clearly shows that if you're not a friend of the bar staff, they don't care about you. There is one bar lady in particular who regularly goes into the pub before her shift starts, to drink with her friends... They let their staff work whilst intoxicated which would be a big no no anywhere else. All I can say is, there are other pubs in the area, go to one of them rather than risk your own safety...

Wouldn't go here even if my life depended on it. This place has gone so far down hill you can't even dare to think how bad it's gotten, last time I was there I had to call the police because another customer was making threats and I've now been barred for doing so because apparently customers safety isn't number one priority. And don't get me started on Debbie. Quite possibly the worst of all the staff. She will sit in there and get drunk before her shift which anywhere else would get you sacked but management here don't care. If I were someone thinking of going here then take it from a former regular and his partner who worked for this pub and helped them out alot, I wouldn't suggest it. There's better pubs...

Was in corner house pub this evening... A SATURDAY NIGHT... AND the music was awful. If anyone was not depressed before going in they would of been sat there half hour drinking a pint.... Please do something regarding your music I don't mind any music but at least put something on with a bit of power and uplifting beat... Not dreary that makes you want to hang yourself from the...
