Takeaway, salt n pepper squid - soggy batter which falls off and is clumpy and squid is all stuck together and way too greasy, yellow egg fried rice which hasn't been left to drain properly as that is all stuck together and has a funny taste which i can't make out, pancake roll is mostly full of bean sprouts hardly any meat or anything else, chicken chow mein is greasy as hell with 2 small strips of carrot, 3 thin bits of courgettes and 5 small chicken bits, chicken balls are overly greasy and the batter is so thick it's still soggy n slimey on the inside and the sweet and sour sauce tastes like ketchup and vinegar mixed together and watered down. Save yourself from throwing it in the bin and go to Wai-Kui in wadebridge instead, we only used this one because Wai-Kui is closed on a Monday and Tuesday. After travelling up and down the country, as food reviewers, we found this little place, we wanted to try everything on the menu, we ordered with the young female waitress, excellent service from her although the male waiter was quite rude. We went on the Sunday as it was (ALL YOU CAN EAT) we tried to order mains to be too be told sorry it’s too much food he said that’s five dishes and there was 4 of us! We enjoyed it up until that moment. Sorry dancing taipan but that male waiter just ruins the business. All you can eat but get questioned on why we want 5 dishes. I wish I had read their reviews before ordering takeaway!! We were shocked to receive the chicken satay that tasted nothing like satay (peanut) it was a watery liquid sauce, bland and Chicken Malaya was chicken that tasted chewy with veg fried rice that tasted like it was reheated & the prawn crackers were all soft, must have been prepared few days back !! even the veg spring rolls were tasteless!! Most appalling Chinese meal we have ever had !! unfortunately we were staying 20min drive away - otherwise I would have returned it all but ended up binning it all - My husband & son ate a sandwich and I forced myself to have some rice which has upset my stomach!!
