Staff need to train on customer service. We have ordered over the years numerous times with no issues, however….tonight I am disgusted with how I have been treated. Our order was placed and after an hour and half of waiting (to give the benefit of the doubt with it being Saturday and busy) I called and was told it’s busy, when asked why I wasn’t informed of the delay I was told - we can’t do that. Yet their website and email states otherwise. I was told to wait another 25/30 mins. We already weren’t pleased but accepted this. 2 hours hits and still no food. I called again and was met with an attitude of I don’t know where it is or when it’ll be with you it’s busy. 2 hours???? And still no idea when it’ll arrive at all as “I don’t have a tracker on deliveries so I don’t know where they are” I asked for a refund which was refused, I was told to maybe call back later and they can sort it but won’t be refunding me now. Not good enough and at this point - theft. I was met with a vile attitude and told no one else has requested a refund because others were patient - yet whilst on the phone can hear in the background someone clearly phoning wondering where their order is also. Not sure how us already waiting 2 hours for food and being told lies in the meantime and still just expecting some kind of eta is being impatient. I got left on the phone then hung up on and food arrived when this happened. Food stone cold. Poor delivery man couldn’t have been nicer it’s a shame all staff aren’t the same! We accepted it purely from having waited SO long we are hungry! Food had to be re heated and the experience has ruined any enjoyment of food. Won’t expect any response as clearly management are too busy to deal with any issues including staffing attitude. Won’t be ordering again as this has completely overruled any previous positive experiences. £30 spent for nothing but...

Awful pizza....thin crust was thick, the ingredients are advertised as being freshly prepared everyday, yet the chicken on my meat feast was clearly reformed, processed chicken. As for the rest of the toppings, they all tasted like the cheapest, most refined and processed toppings that a pizza restaurant could purchase in. Very clearly freshly unwrapped from their delivery bags and thrown in a tub! Unless this company can prove otherwise. As for the mozzarella, that went hard within two minutes of opening the box, again, evidently confirming the processed nature of the ingredients. The dough was less than standard of any takeaway pizza ever had, most likely delivered freshly defrosted from the supplier each day, but nowhere near what is boldly advertised...

Regular customer, waited for over an hour for my order, finally arrived with 1 item (4 items ordered in total) asked if I wanted to wait while he went back and got missing stuff, no offer of fresh food being brought back , he did also add they were very busy as it was 10pm on a Tuesday night, called and got a very poor response from the man I spoke to, he offered up Shelley the managers number so I could complain, and request refund, sent a message and reply was she no longer owns Direct Pizza but can and did...
