I have come here a handful of times since it opened but after my last visit I won’t be returning. The service from Anca (or something similar to that) was genuinely awful. She brought our drinks over and just dumped the tray on the table and walked off. She didn’t say anything at all, didn’t even look up. Just walked over dumped the whole tray down then walked off leaving a dirty tray on our table. The food was really mid, the standards have clearly dropped. Finlay was exceptional and clearly distressed about the lack of support from his manager. The eggs were overcooked and the rest of the food was cold. We couldn't eat anything and had to wait nearly an hour for a refund. This is the 2nd time that we have received poor food and we will not be returning. My partner works in hospitality as a chef and he would never treat customers or his staff in this manner. I was refused a cup of hot water and some milk by the manager of the cafe because she says their policy states they don’t allow customers to drink their own drinks in the cafe due to allergens.
