The Foxes' Den, Binfield — Restaurant in England

What a delightful surprise The Foxes Den turned out to be! As a regular visitor to Binfield for my historical research, I’d heard whispers about this cozy spot but hadn’t ventured in till last week. Let me tell ya, it’s definately worth the hype.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and the scent of freshly baked scones—heavenly. I opted for the “Traditional Foxes Ploughman’s Lunch” (a spot of luck I did!), which came with the crispest bread, sharp cheddar, and a pickle so tangy it made me grin. Sheffield stands for bikes and scooters. Large area with council looking tables. Very popular with local people of all ages including an elderly woman with difficult needs, for whom the staff were very kind. One table had a 1000 piece community jigsaw for people to puzzle over for as long as they wished. Noticeboard showed variety of activities available. My coffee was prepared exactly as I asked. Lovely community cafe with lots of events on each month. A community puzzle - help complete it if you like! And a small selection of shop products to buy, I assume from local makers.

Large selection of cakes, many are vegan and a couple gluten free. Pricing not bad, although it would be nice to see a proper cooked breakfast choice as opposed to toast and sandwiches please!
