The Griddle — Restaurant in England

I dont like leaving bad reviews but feel compelled to afrer tonight. Really disappointing, delivery took over 2 hours, tried to contact ubereats but nothing, rang the griddle many times no answer, when they finally did answer we were told another 15-20 mins, by this time it had been over 1.5 hours since placing the order, and it still took over half hour longer to come, by this time we had lost our appetites. The food was not worth the money at all, we felt really ripped off, very disappointed. Understandable they were busy, but be honest with the customers about delivery time so they can try to gey a refund and go elsewhere instead of receiving cold food. The burger was supposed to be peri peri lemon and herb but just tasted like a bland chicken breast, chips were half full, for £25 we ordered 2 burgers, 1 fries and 5 wings, astounded the cost of this for what we received, won't...

I just had a meal with 8 hungry passengers from london. Dropped in here by chance as we didn't fancy a pit stop in the service. It truly was a good decision to do so. We really enjoyed the food it had the right balance of flavours. Wasnt very busy but could be because it was a wednesday night. I can't understand why it isn't busier. The lamb chops were amazing. Juicy and full of flavour. We got 2 mega platters, which consist of whole peri peri chickens, chicken skewers, lamb chops, wings, chips and drink . It was a huge portion which we couldn't finish . It this was in london it would of done really well. Such a shame it's so far from home. I will definitely be visiting the next time I'm in swindon. First class service from the brother....

I ordered the platter which had two whole chicken and awing platter also I ordered a separate whole chicken, it was awful the chicken was dry and when I called them back they said to me that they have perpared it fresh, the x hot wings were not even mild and they asked us to get the whole delivery back when I reached the counter and showed the man the dried check he says to me madam the chicken is always like this as if I have never eaten chicken for life, sorry to say This but the food was awful and their service as well they don’t know how to serve customers... never going back and would never recommend it to...
