Great little little pub, one of our favourite places. Which is why I choose it for the setting for my husbands 40th. It's quite a small venue, but it was the perfect size for us. I invited about 40, we all fit in quite comfortably. I hired the upstairs and Julian the chef did us a great pulled pork with buns, roasties and coleslaw. It went down very well and there was plenty to go around. The staff were all fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. I was able to bring my tablet to plug in to the music system and have my own playlist. There was a great selection of gin and beers. The smell of fat resonates around the bar. Therefore and unfortunately you can smell this on your clothes all night. If this was addressed then I would give it 5 stars....
