The stuffed chicken breast curry was the best. Otherwise, starters portion were very small (esp the squid). Menu was too long and a bit confusing. We shared the mains realised afterwards they are served with the same curry sauce. It was a busy Friday evening and food took a long while to arrive (we were warned as the momo and stuffed chicken breast were cooked fresh)

Really good experience. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful, food was delicious with a varied menum The toilets were really nice too, good quality non drying soap and hand cream available. Care has been taken to ensure every part of the experience is as enjoyable as possible. Highly recomend

We enjoyed a lovely Friday night meal at this delightful restaurant, the food was stunning, served by truly welcoming and attentive staff. Very pleased that we followed the recommendation by Eliot Hotel where we were staying, and only a 1 minute walk from the hotel. Highly recommended

Visited here last night ( Saturday 29th ) with my brother dad and 5 year old son.

Without a booking, we were greeted with warm welcome and was seated straight away. Within half an hour the whole restaurant was full!

Very busy and popular place, staff are very child friendly, attentive and kindly did a child's Korma portion for my son. Must say the Indian restaurant in Looe were not and wouldn't offer any child portion at all!

Food came out in the best presentation I have ever seen with being a regular to many Indian type restaurants! Presentation was one thing but the food was also mouth watering deliciousness! When paying our compliments to the chef, staff told us that their chef has come from a high end London restaurant. We could certainly tell!

Over all it turns out we had a very special time here, the best way to end our holiday. It was worth the 30 minute drive to where we were staying.

Thank you to the staff.

We hope to be back and please come to Morayahire in Scotland and open up a...

Having read reviews of other visitors, our expectations were high, but we ended up bitterly disappointed. Mains were quite costly, but my 10-year daughter, who normally does not eat much, said that there were only few pieces of meat in Lamb tikka masala, and my 7-year son was unimpressed too. Overall, reasonably tasty mains, but poor value for money. When it's came to the dessert, the menu did not clearly indicate that there were the traces of peanuts, and son is allergic to peanuts. Luckily, we asked this to the staff. Finally, when the bill arrived we realised that the restaurant had 'forgotten' they were part of the 'Eat out help out' scheme (which was clearly stated on their entrance and by the bar). They adjusted the bill only when they were reminded of this, but no apology was received. Oh, I nearly forgot the fact that other diners were offered a free snack, but not us. All in all, the restaurant is massively overrated, I would say below average....

We had a takeaway ordered online from Himalayan Spice on 20th May 2021. It arrived on time but the food was dreadful. So dreadful that I drove to the restaurant to return it. The member of staff I spoke to was, frankly, rude and dismissive. He said they weren't allowed to touch it and offered me a refund of 50% as we "had eaten more than half of it". It was obviously barely touched so I stuck to my guns. Eventually he capitulated and said that the full cost would be refunded to the payment card, but it might take a couple of days. He also informed me that his dinner was delicious and there must be something wrong with my taste buds! So, revolting food and execrable customer service - no wonder the place was empty! I can't recommend it at all. Quite why my husband ordered from there at all when there is the excellent Everest, I will never know. I think he's learned his lesson....
