A bit disappointed, not particularly child friendly staff, pricing policy is confusing and feels like a rip off, some drinks are twice as expensive as in our usual Weatherspoons, we didn't expect that at all, as no price displayed on the Guinness tap, drinks menu not immediately available. Beer is not included in the meals price, which is the case at any other Spoons, and is not immediately apparent looking at the menu. We cancelled our food order. We would accept a slight premium for the service station, but not the inconsistency of pricing and offers. My partners beer was 15% more expensive than usual, mine was 100% more which I learned only paying for it with contactless. This is not what you expect being a loyal customer of the brand, and definetly you would not come in a well known to you chain and read all the little texts in the menu, because you just know them and trust them. So we cancelled the meal and we would have cancelled the Guinness is it wasn't already paid by contactless. I am not going to be in a hurry to use this particular pub again. So spoons lost our meal order and future ones. Bad business, alienate otherwise loyal customer for the forementionet reasons. I recommend Weatherspoons to review their practices in regards our comments...

I would like to share my experience of this restaurant and pub. Whenever I go to Beconsfield nearby I always have a meal after my long journey . I think the location is excellant ,easy parking and of course great service .plus nice outlook . On this particular morning I pulled in and went in to bar to order a breakfast which Mark Peachy took my order and then asked for payment circa £11 odd . I put my hand in my pocket to realise that I had forgotten my wallet . I apologised and mumbeled a bit . Mark Peachy said and I quote “ You come in here regular ~{nearly right }and what the hell I’ll pay for this taking out his card and paying for my breakfast “ I was simply overwhelmed and could not thank him enough . Of course after I absolutely insisted I paid him back . Now I have never received such a great service and cannot praise Mark and his colleagues enough for such trust , and human kindness. I hope that man is promoted for his level of service and genuine kindness . Now for the bad bit ;;;; Weatherspoons as a company have decided against Felixstowe for some reason which I’m very disappointed as I would be a customer...

Lovely place, nice and bright and as always with Wetherspoons good value for money. However, when the guy brought us our food...his comment was "small veggie breakfast (emphasising the word" veggie"and this vegan thing"! I said to my husband, this guy is obviously not in to veggie food, and he said in no uncertain terms "no I'm not". What the hell has it got to do with him whether we are vegetarian or not! He then went on to tell us how all his family eat meat and if you go abroad they don't pander to all this stuff! Yes we're veggie, we've got our reasons, we shouldn't have to explain it to a guy bringing us our food. Unbelievable! We don't preach to people who eat meat, their choice up to them so don't preach to us, we went in to have breakfast and a coffee, this guy made us feel almost guilty for not ordering a full English loaded with meat. We should have got his name really, but I'm sure you will be able to find out who he is Wetherspoons, he's the opinionated guy who seems to have a hatred for vegetarians! Shame because everyone else...

Spoons at Beaconsfield M40 Services. Rather plush surroundings and one of the nicest interiors I've experienced in a Spoons. Service was mixed. Some of the staff were great and happy to assist, some (who I think were part of the management team) seemed to be going through the motions. Stopped for some food and drinks on the way home. Chicken tenders were nice. Loaded chips were bland, greasy and a bit of a let down - first time I've ever had soggy chips in a Spoons, as there's no way a bit of melted melted cheese would stop crispy chips staying crispy. Cookie Dough was good. Hot drinks machines ran out of hot chocolate and coffee. The milk wasn't kept topped up for the tea either.

Horrendous. Main issue being a paid-for food order not being confirmed at the till (by the staff), so no food arrived. After querying why no food had been served, I was told that no order had been made. Eventually, they worked out that an order was made, and food did arrive. BBQ chicken burger came without BBQ sauce, cheese or bacon. Other than a "sorry" and being told it was a "human error", no compensation was offered by the staff. Other issues included having to order by the bar (not taking the order at the table) and unclean (sticky tables). In summary, I've been using Google Maps for years, and this is the first review I've left. Avoid.

I would say avoid this establishment like the plague…. But we literally had the plague a few years ago and no one avoided that…. (Covid) Moderately busy by Wetherspoons standard, empty compared to your city centre spoons on a Friday night. We have been waiting 50 minutes for a pizza and nuggets, when it finally arrived the pizza was like a large poppadom with tinned tomatoes and a bit of cheese on top. Utterly disgraceful for the inflated service station prices they charge! Do not dine here, go to McDonald’s or the weird Mexican place, even purchasing a sandwich from WHSmiths would have been a better experience.
