Went on a Sunday with a party of 10 for breakfast. Perhaps I should have phoned ahead but we arrived at 9.30am, 3 staff were in the entrance so I knocked on the window to alert them we would be coming and put two tables together.... The staff were obviously really annoyed that I did that. I shouted through the glass that we needed a table for ten and was told no, just turn up we're not taking anymore bookings. I asked if I could put two tables together when we arrived and was told no, we don't do that. So, we went for a walk, came back at ten and walked past one reserved table set for ten at 10.30 (not us), in the middle of the restaurant. We went to the end, pushed to tables together, got obvious annoyed looks from the staff but that didn't matter as we had a lovely time meeting up. The whole time we were there the reserved table did not show up. I would not go there with a group again, the order was wrong, the staff pleasant once open, but unpleasant prior to that. The food was average. The coffee is excellent though!
