I was visiting Wincanton for the first time on my own with my baby who is only a few months old. We were going to a baby group and had some time to kill as we'd got the bus and arrived early. I saw this deli and went in to get a coffee and some breakfast. The lady serving wasn't very friendly or welcoming, and when I ordered my coffee she didn't ask if I wanted to have it in or take away so I didn't say anything as I didn't realise you had to pay extra to sit in. Once she'd given me my coffee and I'd paid, I went to sit down as I needed to feed my baby and she rudely said to me I had to pay extra to sit in and pointed at a sign, I immediately offered to pay the extra but she didn't want me to. This made me feel really awkward, uncomfortable and unwelcome which was awful considering I'm a first time mum with my baby and I have health conditions so I am vulnerable. It isn't a child friendly deli or very welcoming so I wouldn't bother...

Even if you fancy something else they have paninis, jacket potatoes, pre-made salads, wraps and pasties-the list goes on... Along with so many types of desserts, it shocks me how they manage to offer it all. Price is more than reasonable for this amazing quality of food, especially when compared to another deli-style shop close by. Keep the lemon...
