Visiting Family and stayed in a Hartburn Air B&B just a few mins from the Masham. The Masham is like a Tardis. From the front it looks like a chubby terrace house but when you walk in its rooms never end. Friendly greeting by staff then quickly seated in the rear part of the establishment. Nice range of drinks and a good menu. Decided to go for the Parmo due to the fact I had one the night before from a local takeaway and I wanted to compare. Well no comparison whatsoever, Masham Parmo was presented well with garnish and fries. The taste was devine , being a man of a small but often diet I was almost pushed into a food coma because I couldn't stop enjoying the meal. Eventually gave in . Food was superb , staff were very friendly and attentive. Price range was very good . Looking forward to our next trip

I absolutely love this pub. We are moving to Hartburn soon and have popped into The Masham a couple of times now as it's going to be our local. The food is just unbelievable im not usually a massive fan of Sunday dinners as its just meat and two veg which normally tend to be underwhelming when you eat out. Nothing of the sorts at this place though, today we both had the cod fishcakes, poached egg and spinach. With a lamb Sunday dinner, every single bit was delicious it's one of those places even though your stuffed you want to keep on eating more it's that good, the staff are welcoming and can't do enough for you. The whole place is amazing from the outside beer garden to the relaxed feel inside. Can not wait for this to be our local shortly.

Met up with friends here for a meal, this being my second visit. Last time I had the steak & Guinness pie (which was fantastic), so this time I decided to try the chicken tikka masala pie. I have to say, it is one of the best pies/meals that I have had in a long time. The crust was perfect, plenty of chicken and sauce inside too. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and we all left empty plates. The staff were very attentive, always checking if we needed more drinks and if everything was OK. All in all, we had a great night, and will definitely be back.

The food was okay put there was no difference in size from my adult Sunday roast to a child’s the roast is lacking vegetables which is a shame my chicken also had a large bone in it which I think is apart of the vibe they’re going for, however entering we were placed in what I’d called the local corner the snotty bunch in there couples did nothing but stare and speak and speak about us making the experience unpleasant for us, a staff member came over and moved us said we could us a table but have a time frame in which it was booked for we were happy to us it while we ordered and ate, the space is tight but it’s clean with a large skylight overhead, now the meals were in the more pricy side I paid just shy of £17 for a burger and chips and same for a Sunday roast which sadly is lacking to call it a roast I was expecting broccoli and cabbage at least it came with small amount of mash, chicken, stuffing, half a skinny carrot, then a separate bowl of two types of peas, cauliflower and swede maybe in chunks they look like the frozen veg you pick up in your local store, I don’t have photos as I wasn’t planning on leaving a review until it’s...

Usually an amazing place to eat however we turned up this evening for a meal for our nanas birthday, table booked for 6.45pm, order taken @ 7.05pm. We didn't receive our starters till 7.45pm. Which were lovely however waited far too long. Our starters were cleared and we waited an hour to be then offered desserts? We hadn't even had our mains? It was another 10/15 minutes before our mains turned up a total of 2.5 hours after we ordered, at this point we'd have ate anything put infront of us we were starving. Mains were poor, pasta overcooked it tasted like slime, steak overcooked, not seasoned and not rested so was chewy. Quite like the bar tenders attitude (no pun intended). We left quite saddned that our favourite place to eat has now resorted to turning out such service. If you charge high end prices I don't expect standard pub food I expect restaurant quality food, maybe raise your standards or lower your prices. Poor, I wouldn't recommend nor will we be returning. The argumentative staff who explained because we ate the food meant we wernt entitled to a refund is sad! If your plane crashed but got you there would you be happy...

Spent a fortune in this place been coming for years, until last Sunday. Last Sunday specifically booked table in front room (too noisy in extension) and were told to arrive at 4.30 when our table would be ready. We arrived on time and were told our table wasn't ready and to wait in bar (2 adults and 2 children). It was really busy and the only place to stand was near the kitchen doors, we were stuck there for 20mins before being taken to the extension when I explained we didn't like it in there and had specifically booked a 4.30 table in the front room. We were told we would just have to stand and wait for people to leave to get a table, NO APOLOGY, NO EXPLANATION WAS GIVEN AND WE WERE JUST LEFT, we waited yet another 15mins as were all hungry and my poor autistic son was getting shoved from pillar to post by staff going in and out if the kitchen, even though people came in after us and were taken straight into the front room where we were supposed to be. IM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED BY THE WE WE WERE TREAT ESPECIALLY AFTER THE MONEY WE HAVE SPENT IN THIS PLACE...
