The New Inn — Restaurant in England

I first tried a meal here three years ago, it was awful, however I gave it another go on Friday evening, what a difference!. I had the spitfire burger meal, I have an allergy to Lettuce, this was sorted with no trouble at all. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the staff were very knowledgeable and attended my every need (without being intrusive) too. This has become a place to eat, that loves to serve its customers!, a place to chill out, alone, or with the family after a hard day's work. Just have a drink (or two) maybe, but you really should try the food as well. My compliments to the chef and all the staff, for giving me a truly delicious meal, and a great atmosphere to relax in, just when I needed it!. We went to the new inn because we were invited to a wedding evening party, I must say looks like the place has been redecorate but the drinks I find are very expensive I ordered 1 pint of orange juice and lemonade and also a half pint and it came to £11they charged me for the orange juice and 4 shots of lemonade ( rip off ) it's no wonder people don't go out to the pubs no more and drink at home and buy from the supermarket I also got the bride and groom a drink of a pint of thatchers and a small bottle of rosie wine and that was £10.35, its a good job I don't drink And as the buffet well it was average tbh. We have recently moved to the area with The New Inn becoming our local! The atmosphere is friendly and fun, the staff are extremely helpful and inviting. We went for our first family roast today which was outstanding! We even invited our family. A table of 6 adults & 1 child (£35.75 for 3 adults & 1 child) we all had a lovely roast which had every vegetable you could imagine and the meat was exceptional. We also got a free desert. The service was brilliant we barely waited for our food it was served quickly and efficiently. Honestly couldn’t recommend more!
