Popped in today, delighted to find a table. Ordered two Panninis and a couple of drinks. Cost just £28. The side salad and crisps were a welcome addition. Set in the Ropewalk and surrounded by history and Art this is a great destination for those who need a break from walking across the Humber Bridge. Apologies there are no photographs of the food … it was lovely and we got stuck in straightaway.

Lovely cafe that offers a range of sweet and savoury foods. I had a vegan Rasberry and Pistaccio cake that was lovely and a decent size. Coffee was average but I’m fairly fussy when it comes to coffee. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Went to a Friday evening event. Had called the day before as I'm vegan and gluten free and the chef said they had gf pasta and he would make a tomato sauce. When we arrived the usual chef was poorly and the message hadn't been passed on but the lovely staff happily rallied round and made me a delightful gf vegan veg pasta in delicious tomato sauce. A warm, freshly cooked cheese scone with butter was the highlight of my visit. I went up to the counter and asked if the cook was male or female, and if the cook was female above the age of 60, I would marry her. That's how good it was.
