Decent size pub which is nicely done out. I've been in a couple of times and find the staff chatty. I ordered 2 pints of Peroni which came to £9.80 and two meals. The Katsu chicken curry and battered halloumi and chips. Both meals were in a deal that came to less than £12. Good presentation on the Katsu chicken and both meals were about the right size, tasty and arrived in good time. I would have given the pub 5 stars but I think the Peroni was a little expensive. Definitely go back again.

We reserved a table for nineteen, the first meal came out twenty minutes after ordering. Unfortunately the last meals came over 40 minutes later when everyone else had finished. The chef didn't know the difference between a rare and medium steak. We were offered a replacement but after waiting so long for the first ones we'd still be there now! Oh and not enough bar staff just to top it off. Overall "rubbish" won't be going back.

Had a perfect few hours over bank Holiday. Food was great and the service was brilliant, tried so hard to look after us. First pub visit since the latest lifting of restrictions. We'll done Rudds staff.

We arrived at 3.30 pm.We told we needed to vacate our table by 5.00pm as they had a private function on.We decided to move to a different table. Then at about 4.10pm they started to section the area off with us inside this section. It felt very strange to be section behind screens. My wife went to find one of the staff, as the table we were sat at we were told was not included in the private function and didn't have any notices saying it wasn't. We finished around 4.40pm.But we did what a sweet but didn't dare order one .because I don't think we would of been served. And if we had of ordered some I know we would of asked to be moved.Which would of been difficult as the place was packed. We left at 4.50pm just as the guests were coming in.if we were told that we couldn't sit here when we came in it would of been a better experience. Also why didn't anyone tells us this when they brought...

I came to The Rudds Arms to celebrate my 25th birthday with my family and I was completely astounded by just how kind and generous the staff were to me and my family, along with the exceptional service. They made my day so extra special, made sure all of us were looked after and ensured at all times that I was having the best time. They even went as far to get me a birthday cupcake, some birthday glasses and decorated the table for me.

Special shoutout to: Daisy, Marc, Faith and Dee who went above and beyond to make sure I had the best birthday!

Could not recommend this pub enough, it's one of the best in the...

Lovely setting apart from the really dated karaoke they have each week playing in the background , not sure why they think that catering for the same singing faces each week warrants good entertainment it is beyond me!, anyhow the service was particularly good this evening and the sever was really attentive but unfortunately the rudds like so many other pubs that DO food totally miss the point and serve really sub standard meals, yes I know it's bar but everything we ate tonight tasted microwaved and in need of seasoning, do the cooks/chefs taste this food? It's a great shame as its a really nice venue but the management need to change the way the food is prepared and nonchalantly sent...
