The Apple Tree — Restaurant in England

NEVER AGAIN ordered 3 meals together, after about a 30min wait only two meals arrived - so we waited and waited … only to find out one meal hadn’t been been cooked with ours. The girl behind the bar handled it in the most shocking way - just told us it was a kitchen error and the other meal would be 10-20mins and walked off !!!!! I asked for the manager, she refunded the money for the meals (mine I didn’t eat as I was waiting for my sons to arrive, and when it finally did - mine was cold) NEVER...

Nice place, nice service, my partners food looked lovely, he enjoyed it. I got mince and dumplings and I didnt enjoy it. It was like a microwave meal with smash instead of proper mashed potato. The dumplings were like dust when cutting into them, obviously frozen ones, the seasonal veg that came with it was rock hard carrots, and garden peas. Guess its pot luck what is home made and not. Update: another visit and this time the Parmo was even better. It's not often I'm able to come back up north so when I do this place is going to become my go-to for my Parmo fix.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, easy to have a conversation with my friend. We both had Parmo with was excellent.

Staff were friendly and served quickly. We were surprised at how low the bill was at the end of the night.
