The Stag — Restaurant in England

I recently had the pleasure of attending one of the Senior Lunches at The Stag pub, hosted by Radfield Home Care, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish.

From the moment we made the first contact, the communication was exceptional. The team at The Stag took the time to listen to suggestions and ensure that the menu for the senior lunch would be something everyone would enjoy. They truly went above and beyond to make sure the event was well-organised and welcoming.

The staff at The Stag were outstanding. They were not only incredibly friendly and helpful but also made sure that everyone felt comfortable and cared for throughout the meal. Their warm and approachable demeanor really added to the overall positive experience, creating an atmosphere that was both relaxed and inviting.

As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! I opted for the classic ham, egg, and chips, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The ham was tender, the eggs cooked to perfection, and the chips were crispy and golden, providing the perfect balance of crunch and flavor. The portion was generous, leaving everyone at the table satisfied and happy.

To finish off the meal, I indulged in the sticky toffee pudding, and it was divine! Warm, gooey, and comforting, it was the perfect way to end the meal on a sweet note. The combination of the rich toffee sauce and soft sponge was absolutely scrumptious.

Overall, The Stag pub provided an exceptional dining experience, and I’m already looking forward to the next Senior Lunch. From the food to the service to the welcoming atmosphere, everything was top-notch, making it a truly enjoyable outing. Me and my wife moved to Flackwell Heath in May this year, although we were aware that there were several pubs within walking distance of our new home! we obviously had to test them all out which was a good stroll/crawl around the village. The Stag however stood out amongst the crowd so much so it is has now been adopted as our "local"

Friendly and attentive staff behind the bar who will always greet you with a smile and the food is out of this world. An amazing variety on the menu as well as seasonal specials which gets better & better every time we go! The food is reasonably priced and plentiful which is just what you need on a sunday sitting next to the open fire watching over the amazing view that the garden has to offer.

Mentioning the garden this was a thin slice of heaven in the summer, sitting on the decking with the sun on your face overlooking the fields with a nice cold ale… amazing! I would recommend this pub to anyone and we have taken many family and friends who would do the same.

We have ventured in for the pub quiz on a couple of occasions and our neighbours have recommended the live music nights! We are so happy to have such a local which is getting bigger & better as the months have passed! A real asset to...

im awfully appalled by the state of this pub. after it being shut down for a year, i was definitely expecting more change in both the staff and the way the pub runs; but that was a bare minimum. i ordered two cokes for me and my sister, and was shocked to find them both flat. the staff kindly replaced them for us, but these new ones were also flat. they need to take more responsibility and change the gas, when they finally got it right, it still wasn't perfect. the waitress was kind enough, however i was shocked to find that the pepperoni was out of stock, so we needed to change our whole order. the starter was very nice, no fault on that at all. however, we needed to wait awfully long for our main to arrive, and when it did, we found out that one of our family's food wasn't even made yet, as our waitress forgot to write her order.

this service was absolutely disgusting, and i expected better from a place like this. we went out for a cigarette, to find our meal was cleared away without warning, and some of us didn't...
