The Vale Cafe — Restaurant in England

Staff seemed too concerned with getting back to Crack - bought two "monster" breakfasts - this title shouldn't be allowed - "alright sized" all day breakfast more like - comes with a hot beverage as part of the deal, but you've got to ask for it - the place is trendy - to the local elderly community and they are happy to keep getting up to ring the bell to attract the staff - and they've kept the decor to their liking too - food wasn't amazing - it's a go to eatery if you need mediocre food and small portions with hefty 'modern' prices for food that's sourced locally...

Started going to this cafe quite often since recently moving to Rothbury and me and my mum would always get the same thing a full English breakfast with an extra sausage. However on arriving today to the cafe we heard multiple people working there say “here come the 10,000 sausages” and “17 sausages incoming” to which we were absolutely disgusted in. I don’t think I’ll be going back there again as the workers were so rude on our arrival today and it actually upset us as we used to go to that cafe very often when I was younger before...

stopped by last month, asked for extra milk in coffee as they always make it scalding hot ( which is illegal ) , one sip and burned the top of my mouth, told the lass behind the counter and she just shrugged her shoulders and walked off . staff dont know whats in their "home cooked " food , dated and filthy inside and an outside toilet straight out of trainspotting . Avoid and just go to the fuel station in thropton 2 mile down the road ,you get a really nice meal deal, bacon and sausage sarnie + a proper cupper...
