Myself and my husband walked to the white Hart today 24th June for a Sunday lunch, when we arrived they weren't overly busy, we waited at the bar to get served, I eventually ordered our drinks and waited patiently, 15mins later still no drinks, my husband noticed the barman was serving drinks to other customers at the end of the bar (obviously regulars) , do you have to belong to an exclusive drinkers club to be served there, very ignorant staff, we left with no drink or food, but their loss we kept our money and went to the Berkshire Arms, where we were seated and served immediately, excellent...

Small single bed room. £40. Shared toilet and bathroom.walls are very thin can hear next doors conversations. Bed is small and could feel the springs. Quilt very thin, thin pillows. No extra pillows or quilt in cupboard. Just bath no shower. Did not have food there so can't comment but your talking £9 up for a meal. Beer is expensive. Also surrounding pubs are expensive for beer. Town its self is right on front door. Co op, multiple kebab shops and kebab vans in town centre. Indians. Chinese in abundance. Charity shops and betting shops. Expensive town with no justification for such...
