I’m not usually one to complain or leave bad reviews. But the whole point of reviews is being honest about your feedback. The cappuccinos were lovely! But we waited over 40mins for 2 poached eggs on toast and a toasted sandwich, the poached eggs on toast were not edible. The eggs were horrific - hard boiled on one side and raw underneath. The toast was not toasted / and buttered so severely - if I wanted it buttered I could do that myself. All the butter made it soggy. Super healthy. The chef/cook slammed the plates down too almost with pride. Rather don’t offer poached eggs if you can’t actually produce them properly. The tuna toastie was great! But after waiting 40mins that was abit rough. I would recommend the coffee not the food. You can see the pictures yourself. And maybe you should train your chef/ cook on a weekday and not a busy Saturday.

Lovely coffee shop. The seats are socially distanced and the cafe had a pleasant vibe. The menu isn’t enormous, but the food is very good. I’d recommend the grilled sandwiches and the American style pancakes which were very nice too. The coffee is okay, and they were able to accommodate alternative milk preferences. The prices were also very reasonable. I’d recommend this place for a nice casual brunch and I intend to come back here.

We came here when Rumsey's was very busy, and we've back since as a first choice. The food is outstanding, a great selection of interesting fillings and combos of breads for a great sandwich menu for a start. The sourdough is especially excellent. Sit outside in the sun if you can, it's lovely. Covid secure too. Highly recommended.

We had breakfast which came to £49!!! I had pancakes, expecting them to be homemade large crepe style at £9.50. They were the small round ones you get in a packet at the supermarket. My son had a bacon sandwich at £7.50, two bits of bread, 3 bits of bacon. Normal packet bread, not home made or with a nice crust to it. My other son also had pancakes, he only got two and a few cut up bits of strawberry and blueberry. We were all still hungry after we had eaten. I noticed a carton of Apple juice on the shelf in the dining area which I recognised from Aldi. I spoke to the owner and the staff as I was shocked at the total price for basic tasting food and questioned where it was coming from. My pancakes tasted like the ones you buy from Aldi, if this is the case, at that price, that is disgusting. I will say all the staff were friendly but we will not return. Very...

Came in for a bagel and a smoothie. I paid £9 for the bagel. Loads of pickle, loads of mustard. One wafer thin slice of pastrami. The most expensive bagel i have bought and the worst I have consumed. In central London they are cheaper and you get 20 times the amount of pastrami. You should be ashamed. Disgraceful. Won't ever return and will pass on to all I know. I mean £9!! In response to your response, I didn't complain there and then, because it was to a take away and I started to eat it at lunchtime 40 miles away. Thanks for the speedy reply. Says it all really. Instead of taking criticism on the chin you question me. Pathetic. You have had similar reviews before, but maybe we're all in the wrong. Maybe you really are the...
