We had a mix of energy from the staff the lady who seated us very accommodating and helpful made us feel exclusive, followed by a very patronising long red haired woman who clearly had an issue with us changing table, not sure if it was a language barrier or just v rude, had to order things from another waiter after being ignored more than twice by her or just forgotten about not ideal when It takes 10 minutes just to flag the staff down as they come in serve someone and don't ask anyone else if they need a drink or need anything.. the food in the ogo is superior and the service but was still tasty and recommend, the brekfast has a good selection of continental and is ideal you don't have to wait around for hours to get it. it's a shame the service (or "server") really let our experience down otherwise would of had a higher rating. if you don't like people or your job you shouldn't be working in hospitality. even when we went to pay at the desk she asked us to sit back down like we wer kids in a classroom we responded with "can't we just pay here now" so we didn't have to...

Staff were kind enough to accommodate us without a booking and allowed us to move tables for a better view once a table became available. Sadly though that was about it from our main server, who whilst wasn't rude, lets say wasn't the host with the most and when a 10% service charge is on your bill I would hope for more. 2 course Sunday lunch £30 pp. Food was reasonable for the money, but nothing to shout about and if I was likely in that area again I would probably have the roast at the Merrymoor Inn. Decor and atmosphere was pleasant and the view out to sea was a bonus. Can't say I wouldn't eat here again but it wouldn't be first on the list. To end on a positive, the extra pint I had to consume in the bar area (which was lovely and relaxed) whilst waiting for the rain clouds to pass was...
Read moreWith amazing views all around the wild cafe at breakfast lunch and dinner to catch the sunset, this cafe/restaurant serves excellent fresh food made with love. Hearty portions, great service, making the stay even more memorable. We had dinner twice during our stay, after tea lunch ( a must) and breakfast every morning, which besides all the range of pastries and fruit, the sour dough fresh bread made on site with fresh avocado with a hint of chilli was scrumptious.
Afternoon tea consisting of a banquet for two(!) always outstanding.
Fish was cooked and served to perfection and the portions were generous. Loved every bit we ordered...
