Really nice little spot. I have only had a hot chocolate and cake as I keep getting out late and they shut at 4. From my time sat in the little cafe type venue it was a nicely done place. Seemingly outdoorsy but with a tent style canopy / covering all around that keeps it cosy. So you can enjoy the nice scenic location and feel like you are sitting in the country side whilst staying warm. My hot chocolate and cake was nice. It was a banana and pistachio loaf thing which was very pleasant. I could smell the kitchen as I was sat reading but as I went and asked about food they said they had just closed. A shame as they menu seemed really appealing. I will most likely pop in again to try a breakfast some time. Friendly staff, cosy venue with nice scenery and a nice original looking menu.

Visited today on friends recommendation . Had a flat white and a cheese melt ie a toasted sandwich..Coffee ready immediately after payment ,inquired politey after 10 mins how my order was progressing, three people before had already been served..to be told quicker orders were prepared first..waited another 10 mins asked again..order appeared immediately and was dumped on counter by a rather surly Chef. Overall a rather disappointing experience with overpriced offerings trying too hard to be trendy. On the plus side its a lovely venue and great area to wander around and the weather was great too! I've given a low star rating purely on my experience today, will visit again give it another go next week

Disappointing and overpriced. small soup and half a 'Melt' (toastie) -£10.50. Soup was at best tepid. Returned it, server put her hand on tureen, shrugged and served me another pot - which, if anything was colder than the original. It tasted OK but I have issues with food kept at that temperature throughout a service of several hours. Husband had Roast Porcetta Melt, £13 for what is basically a toastie; not very much porchetta, maybe half a thin slice. Coffee was good.

Major wasp issue! Staff were very polite the venue is lovely and the food looked great. Ended up getting a refund on the food becausey family could not enjoy it. We sat with drinks and were harassed by wasps with only a moments break, but is was durable. When the food arrived it looked great, as i carried it to the table 7-8 wasps swarmed our plates and were very quickly in it and stuck in the syrup. We had 4-5 wasps on a plate there was no way to eat this. We were offered the option of lids for our food which shows great initiative from the staff, but how are you to eat you food with a lid on it. The staff seemed smug when i asked for a refund which was eventually given. The venue is lovely, the food looked amazing but there was a major wasp issue here. This was a birthday breakfast with the family unfortunately ruined. All guests were being pestered by the wasps. I would recommend your staff use lids on their bins which is where a large number of the wasps are congregating. The experience was 1 star, but i gave 2 star as it would have been great...

Curious experience at Wild Herb for several reasons. It was a Saturday morning and the sun was shining. We arrived at 0950 and had to wait 10 mins for them to open. 10am, on a Saturday, when you serve breakfast? They have very tasty looking sausage rolls, but they wont heat them up for you while they are serving breakfast. That's right, you can have cooked bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, etc. But if you want your sausage roll heated then you need to wait till lunch time. They have tap water freely available to drink, but all the cups are single use plastic. You order food and it comes out in single use cardboard trays. They are defintely not on the cutting edge of climate action. There are LOTS of staff, but service is not fast. Prices are higher than other cafes in the area, and for no discernible reason. Nothing to hate, but better options...
