Went here for family supper on Friday night. Four adults and two children in the group. Went to the bar for drinks whilst everyone looking at the extensive menu. Waited for almost twenty minutes (not a huge queue at 615 pm) and two male staff so slow I gave up ! Ordered everything on the App and got served 30 minutes later! My chicken tikka was a joke and so small portion. Nobody came to see if the meals were ok and also other tables full of dirty dishes not collected. After the meal the waiter said the portions were pre measured which I found a joke as the meal was 95% carbs and little overcooked chicken pieces ! The whole experience was ONE STAR with inattentive staff, unhelpful staff, insufficient staff, no visible signs of a manager, poor quality and small sized meals! I asked twice for my free St Patrick’s Day Jamieson drink I had email code for and nobody helped with this! Shocking lack of service and quality of food. EDIT TO MARCH 14TH 2025. EXACTLY THE SAME NO CHANGES NO IMPROVEMENTS. It was a family dinner. I have the app and after 30 minutes trying to order gave up and had to go to bar and stand in line. There’s the issue! One cheesed off young guy serving everyone food, mixing drinks, shaking cocktails, serving ice creams etc etc. another thirty minutes wasted waiting to get served in the queue! Food was served another thirty minutes later and again issues with quality, portion sizes and temperature. Chips were cold, gravy was gloopy on Hunters chicken, kids meals were sloppy, cold and greasy fish fingers! Tried to order more drinks and gave up! We left and went down to the Beefeater for desserts, coffees and more drinks. At 20:30 pm the place was completely empty as no customers left only the barman and one girl staff! That’s the story! This pub is a joke with no management present serving substandard quality meals! I do not recommend this and would advise owners to get a grip or it will eventually shut down!

01/04/23 After a while away we decided to try Willow Farm for their Breakfast Buffet. £6.99 for all you can eat, which is a fair deal but generally one plate is sufficient. To start, the bacon needs a special mention as I can still taste it now 2 hours later. I'm not sure how they cook it, but it tasted like it had been dropped in a fire and fished out; Flame grilled bacon? It wasn't good. Everything else was ok, best item was probably the hashbrowns which were crispy as you'd want them. Sausages are usually where places like this fall flat, but they too were ok. No white bread for toast was disappointing too, especially as there was still about half an hour of breakfast service remaining. It's an extra £1.99 for unlimited Coffee & Tea. The coffee was filter coffee which was palatable. The tea wasn't great, hot water for the tea was from a hot water flask, which made a pretty poor cuppa. We had to wait at one point for coffee, hot water and milk, which wasn't great. Fresh Juice is another £1, no mention of this being unlimited. All in all, it was ok, nothing to brag about and nothing to rush back for. 17/09/22 We've tried the breakfast here via Justeat. Mistake. We ordered 2x standard breakfasts and a kids breakfast. All breakfasts only came with 1 sausage and 1 rasher of bacon, no black pudding, the kids was missing the tomato and to top it off it was all cold. I mean how can you get the items so wrong, surely your staff know what these menu items should contain. I have requested a refund on JustEat as these things aren't cheap and I'm not paying when the meals are missing most of the expensive items, unsure if the refund will be successful, but regardless you can guarantee I'll not be back to Willow Farm anytime soon. Oh and the phone number set on JustEat for the restaurant is incorrect and doesn't work.

Food is excellent and great value for the money. Hubby tried the all day breakfast today and he luv'd it, I had the usual carvery with a good selection of veggies. Staff always helpful and always fast at clearing table. Wed 17 May 2017 Hubby n I had a 2 course special today only £6.99 each. Good value for the money and sausage was gorgeous my mash was horrible😕 Fri 28 July 2017 Had small carvery today. Beef looked nice but stringy and yorkshire pudding was tough to get through and hubby said the same, I'm sure they're frozen and not fresh made! 🤔 Thurs 21 June 2018. Excellent carvery today and just managed to get a table...very busy. 👍 Wed 25 July 2018. Had lunchtime carvery and enjoyed it. Hubby had small pork and myself the standard beef...luv my veg.👍 Wed 22/8/18. Had pork n beef carvery lunch today...delicious. They're also geared up and ready for December lots of things going on leading up to Xmas. Check out the diary blackboard at the entrance as you enter👍

I came in for a meal with friends and there child for my partners birthday , we often eat out at this restaurant and is normally fine however today's visit was far from fine. We asked to be seated as far away from the play area as the last time we came our friends child (2 years old ) was hit by another child who was way to old to be in the play area and he split his gum open so hence why we asked to be seated as far away but instead they seated us right next to the play area on a 4 seated table when there was 5 of us , we ordered our meals and our friends child was unsettled the whole time because he was right next to the play area and wanted to be in it constantly which was something we dident want to happen , they sat us there because the seating area further up was closed due to a staff shortage . So further along we ate eating our meal and a family of 4 is seated in the closed of area which we weren't aloud to sit in so now we were frustrated because all this wouldent of happend if they just sat us in the quieter area. Our meals weren't very nice at all and couldent finish them , we complained to one of the table staff and she reported to her duty manager , she then came over and said she was to busy and would have to come back to us when she can , so we waited another 10 minutes for her to come back to listen to our complaints , she said she couldent really do anything and said sorry , she offered us a piece of cake which we thought was insulting , she quoted she couldent give us a refund because we ordered through the green king app , so I don't understand how we couldent get a refund this diddnt make any sense. We ordered a sundae ice cream and the manager said she would get straight on it and make sure it gets done quick and the child wanted it and was getting upset . So we are waiting for this sundae which was getting fast tracked due to our complaint 30 minutes later we are still waiting the child is distraught screaming for his ice cream we go up to ask where it is . To find out it isint even being made yet when the manager said it was being made over 20 minutes ago , we also couldent have some of the meats of the carvery whilst we were there because they were to busy taking away all the food for just eat orders and not serving the in house customers which the que of 10-15 un patient customers waiting for there food but they were to busy making orders for people who aren't even in the resturant. By the time we were aloud our food is was practicly gone.

Really unhappy about this experience and asked for a refund but refused due to ordering though the...
