Wookey Hub — Restaurant in England

We visited The Wookey Hub recently on our way to Wells and all I can say is that this place is AMAZING!! Not only is it a beautiful cafe selling food and drinks, with one of the best cups of Coffee I've ever had. But attached is a local shop selling a wide range of produce, from locally sourced honey, fruit and veg to the daily paper. It litterly has got everything you could ever need. We only nipped in for a quick coffee stop and ended up with a jar of local honey (beautiful BTW), potatoes, ginger and a grapefruit. 😅

Not only that, but all of the staff are attentive, friendly and go above and beyond to give the greatest customer service you could possibly wish for. This is why the Wookey Hub has built up such a brilliant community, all together, family vibe, with its customer base.

It really is a heart warming experience nipping in for a coffee and seeing the community spirit and social cohesion that the wonderful staff there have created.

I really look forward to visiting here again and would strongly advise anyone in the local area to do the same. Places like this are very few and far between these days and we should do everything we can to keep them going long into the future!

Having been let down by a cafe in Wells (who did not contact me, I checked) we were left with no where to have our lunch and have cycle security for 20.

I looked up cafe reviews and found Wookey HUB, rang and when Annette answered my call, I TRULY FELT this was going to be the perfect lunch stop, and without doubt, in 12 years of day, and holiday lunch stops this is the best I have ever visited.

Food quality was excellent and never before have so many riders repeatedly said how amazing Wookey HUB was.

Add to that on an unbelievably hot day we had a rider suffering from severe cramps, and Andy offered to drive him and his cycle back to Weston Super-Mare, which he did. I have never seen or heard of a TEAM this caring and...

I called in this pm to buy some strawberries and cakes to take away for tea with firiends. I forgot the closing time. Although the shop was already 'shut' and chairs upturned on tables the door was still open. The amazingly helpful lady kindly got cakes out of the fridge along with 2 punnets of strawberries and re-opened up the till again. A huge thank you for saving our "watching wimbledon tea " in the usual super friendly way. The cakes were delicious as always... What an amazing Hub.....
