Absolutely awful experience, we ordered coffee's and when they came they were incorrect, which I said that was not my order, the young lady collected the coffee up a walked behind the counter and she had a few cross words with the man that took my order, he marched over to our table, said that that was what I ordered because that's what he'd written down! Placed the coffee down in front of me and then turned his back and marched behind the counter again, so rude! I could not believe it, I have never had that in any coffee shop before ever. It was our first day in Northumberland and it really spoilled a beautiful day, my Mum is 93 years old and me and my brother were taking her on holiday, these are times and memories to be treasured. Would never set foot in this place again, the staff are terribly rude. There are some other coffee shops there I would recommend people avoid this one...

Supposedly dog friendly, but not! Owner very rude. My dog was fretting a bit as I was ordering food at the counter, and he told me if my dog didn't be quite, he would have to ask us to leave...I wouldn't have taken my dog inside if she was a problem... The minute I sat down after ordering, my dog went to sleep under the table, as I knew she would... If there had been anywhere else to eat (apart from pubs) I would have told the owner to forget my custom and we would have left... Needless to say we ate and left, without ordering ice-cream after as we originally intended! Wouldn't recommend dog owners going to this establishment! With everything happening with small businesses at the moment, you'd think he'd want all the business he could get without...

As much as I would love to give a 5* I just cannot because of the quality of the food. Price was fair for drinks/snacks but the 2x sandwiches I purchased we couldn't even eat all of them. I had a bbq pulled pork sandwich, which tasted like a microwave pulled pork which wasn't microwaved long enough, and the my partner had ham and cheese sandwich - The ham was cheap and the cheese wasn't very nice either. The sandwiches were actually burger buns, not sandwiches, which was also disappointing. Lovely location and would stop by again for a drink or chocolate bar, but unfortunately, I wouldn't eat anything "homemade." WC Available...

Wyndenwell cafe is a charming and cozy spot to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and a bite to eat. The cafe's friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere make for a pleasant dining experience. The menu offers a range of tasty options, from freshly baked pastries to hearty breakfasts and light lunches. The coffee is excellent, and there are plenty of tempting cakes and desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth. Whether you're looking for a quick coffee or a leisurely meal, Wyndenwell cafe is a great choice for a casual, laid-back dining experience in the heart of Bamburgh.

Coffee is nice, most of the staff are friendly. The older lady (perhaps owner) could do with a course in customer service and friendliness. She’s pretty rude and miserable. Also, the plugs are oddly covered with tape - not sure if this is to stop people charging phone and/or laptops. If so, such an inhospitable act for a business in the ‘hospitality’ sector. Might be another reason though. Either way, not great vibes. Advice would be to avoid and spend your hand-earned money somewhere else.
