Totally shambolic bookings / arrival system - when I arrived they seemed to have no record of our booking. I was sent to one table, the next two members of our group were sent to another, and the final member was sent to yet another! Not sure what they think makes their menu items worthy of being described as “seriously healthy” - it’s standard charcoal grill Turkish style food. Interestingly I had eaten at Capadocia just around the corner two days before so I was in a good position to compare the two. I had chicken shish at both. The Koza offering was considerably more expensive and MUCH less food. Instead of a decent bit of bread Koza gave me a wafer thin piece of what seemed like a Chinese pancake, a mound of bulgur that is half to two thirds of what you get at Capadocia, and no salad save for a bowl of salad the size of a child’s cereal bowl which we were told was for two people to share. (At Capadocia I could barely finish what was on the plate!) I asked for a latte, extra hot, and was brought a tepid drink. The waiter saw I’d drunk it really quickly and asked me if it had been hot. I said, “since you ask, no it wasn’t at all hot,” and he just laughed and walked away. I wondered if he’d bring another or maybe even take it off the bill but he did neither. The food was nice enough and my friends with the sea bass and imam bayildi were pleased enough, but I’d choose Capadocia next time. I won’t...
Read moreThe place was empty and the food still took 45 minutes So first and foremost, we like to leave a feedback so you guys can work on it and don’t repeat again, i like to explain my visit so you can have a better understanding and view this as mandatory for you’re staff to follow, except criticism and improve from here on out, let me elaborate, the starters arrived first before the drinks and you guys had to even get the cream from the shop to make pina colada? Surely you have to follow HACCAP protocols you would get marked down for importing high risk items from another place without carrying out temperature checks, how did you carry the cream over from the shop to the restaurant did you hire a fan with a refrigeration unit or was it a plastic bag carrier??? Then we had to ask where the drinks were hence why you came over to us to explain why it took so long, anyway, then our food came and you asked how it was 5 mins before we started eating, it was disappointing to say the least, the chicken wings were dry and no flavour, and the Adana was very dry unappealing and no flavour, we had to say everything is alright, we were hungry and didn’t eat all day, the restaurant is empty and it took so long, I’ll learn my lesson please take this on board and improve from...

The food did taste amazing but the portions were so small for the price you pay, my main meal was a chicken and lamb combo with yoghurt dip and rice. I received maybe 4 pieces of chicken (nugget size) and the same with the lamb, a small portion of basic rice, quarter of a small fried tomato and a mouthfuls worth of a green pepper and that dish cost £23
The service was OK, took a long time to have someone come and take our initial food order, and when presented with a dessert menu, I had gone to the toilet and it was gone when I returned and was then presented with the bill. The other thing I didn't like was a mandatory service charge on the bill which we felt obligated to pay despite the service being lackluster.
The environment was a strange one, all was well to begin with but the temperature soared as the evening went on and no air conditioning was switched on at all, I was sitting in my chair sweating, then someone randomly seemed to double the music volume in the restaurant making it impossible to have a conversation with the person next to me without shouting.
The whole experience just didn't sit well with me and far below my expectations of a place with reviews above 4. I wont...
