Prime Pizzeria — Restaurant in Erewash

Unfortunately having previously left a 5 star review for my first order, I have no choice but to delete and update after my newest experience. It may seem harsh to go from 5 to 1, but to me, my most recent experience was so poor it supersedes the good first order. First of all, I get Saturdays are a busy day for takeaways, but there has to be a point when common sense is used and if it gets to a point where delivery times and quality of food is going to suffer, maybe no more orders should be taken until things are a bit less mad. I waited over 1hour and 40 minutes for an order that said it would be 40-60. I tried calling for updates but couldn’t get through to them for ages, to the point where my order actually arrived minutes later. After the long wait, I then receive chips and cheese with the cheese completely stuck to the lid, chips freezing cold and just completely inedible. The chicken was the wrong size, overcooked and nowhere near the quality of the previous time I had it. The rest of our order was good, and enjoyable, but it was still tainted by the long wait. I did call and let them know I wasn’t happy with the chips and chicken and they were friendly and said they would send replacements as soon as possible. As soon as possible ended up being 1 hr 10 mins. Obviously by this time, the edible food had long been eaten, and we were about ready for bed, in fact I was literally just about to ring them to say don’t bother sending it now when the replacements turned up. In total our order took 3 hours from paying to being complete. I pre empt if I get a reply it will be something along the lines of, we were really busy, it’s a Saturday etc. but as I said earlier- in that case, make a sensible business decision to pause orders until things are on a better level. I’m sure most people would be annoyed to wait that long, and to then receive food that is not up to scratch is not going to make them want to return. I would’ve rather not been able to order as you were too busy and be able to choose somewhere else, than this whole experience I...

Food was nice and the pizza was really exceptional - it looked just like the photos on the website and tasted amazing. The reason for the three stars instead of 5? I was told it would be an hour for delivery, however, an hour and a half later the food arrived which let the service down - after ringing to chase the order, the food was sent out as I explained this was our first order and they didn’t want our experience to be tarnished which was a nice thought. Maybe it was a one off with the delivery time being so long. Can’t fault your food at all - will use you again to see if the delivery...

Fantastic fantastic fantastic what more can I say... Second time ordering.. Tonight we had Mike deliver to us... Such a nice man and so nice to have a delivery from someone who takes the time to speak to his customers and appreciate your custom..... What can I say kids love it her in doors is happy and to top it off if there's anything left I get it for dinner at work the day after whoop whoop!! This is now our first go to place for take out....... Keep up the good work I will be recommending to...
