Radhuni Tandoori — Restaurant in Erewash

We usually get a takeaway from Radhuni and the food has always been good, but after sitting in for a meal tonight their customer service is absolutely terrible. The staff had not contact with us after our inital order and we had to physically wave to get their attention even though we were the only customers in the resturant at the time, and were immediately brought the bill the moment our plates had been cleared, 2 hours before closing time. When we finally did manage to order deserts they came out instantly and were frozen completely solid, ice crystals still clearly visible all over and the ice cream completely inedible, having a consistency closer to stryofoam than actual ice cream, as though it had been thawed and re-frozen over and over again.

On top of this the main waiter who served us was very callous bringing out our dishes and just thumped the plates down on the table before walking off, and then casually tossed our plates and cutlery around when gathering them back up.

Overall the food was alright but the service was the worst I've ever experienced in a resturant, and as it was an extremely quiet night no excuse can be made of the waiters being rushed. They treated us like we were a complete nuisance and left us all wondering if we had somehow offended them in some way, even though they hardly spoke to us. Even worse, they then proceeded to treat a party of regulars that came in with great hospitality, after treating us with absolutely none.

Normally a safe 4 to 5 stars - food was excellent as always. However, tonight’s order cost over £5 more than advertised. This led to a very embarrassing exchange on our doorstep where we had to transfer money to the delivery girl’s account as you insist on money only payment. We phoned the restaurant to confirm whether prices had increased and were told they had. This is not the issue: we accept everything is more expensive at the moment but PLEASE inform your customers of price changes so they can choose whether or not order. Used to rave about this place how nice it was but what has happened. The chicken isn’t chicken anymore doesn’t look or taste like it. We tried it again and it was the same very disappointing. We found 2 pieces of metal scourer in my pilau rice the chicken korma was like water, the poppadoms was very nice but the mango chutney has definitely been watered down to make it go further that is not good it didn’t even stick to the poppadom just ran off like water there was no flavour to it all. 3 times it hasn’t been good so sorry to say Radhuni you have lost our custom we have found a relish 1 in Eastwood called burka express their mango is so thick and tasty and...
