I would never normally leave a review but such a disappointing visit! It was busy but still tables to sit at, 6 staff around but none of them seemed to know what they were doing? Very young staff that were not supervised as far as we saw? Honestly not one smile from any of them? Took 10 min standing in line to be served, ordered a piece of carrot cake which I was very much looking forward to! Sat at my table waiting for it to come. Drinks came one by one but no cake! Watched people who were served after me being given their cake but no sign of mine? Went and stood in the queue again and after 5 min reached the front to be told they'd run out??? Told the girl that I'd seen other people served theirs who had ordered after me, she did offer me another slice of cake but only one left by now which I didn't like! She did apologise (once) and gave me a refund! Now you may be reading this thinking how petty this all seems.....its just a piece of cake after all! But you see to me it was a treat that I had been looking forward to for days, I am in the middle of cancer treatment and have been feeling rather poorly until recently, this was a highlight in a week of lows and things going wrong! In the grand scheme of things it's a bit daft to get upset about something so silly but I'm afraid I am! I've always enjoyed going to breezes ever since the day it opened but now I will never go...

On a recent visit, I was sat across from an old gentleman 83 i think he said, a delightful cheery chap. And he said how lovely the decor was and wanted to take a few photos, memories he said, he first visited this cafe on the day his wife had been cremated 3 years ago. So this day, the chap took some photos and I believe a member of staff may have been in the photo. He was ordered most rudely, by a female staff member to stop taking photographs and to delete them with immediate effect. The old guy, was visibly upset by this outrageous attack. To the point of repeatedly apologising and saying he would delete the pictures. The male server thrust the bill in his hand, (he hadn't asked for the hill) and was told never to come back. I went outside when he left and he was shaken beyond belief and was jot feeling well. What sort of staff does this to customers?. I for one will never go back, and I'm sure he won't either. I...

Absolutely appalling treatment from the staff!!! My uncle took a photo of the cakes and accidentally got the girl in the photo by mistake..before he could delete as he knew it was wrong a lady from the kitchens came storming through the café demanding he delete the picture.. now bare in mind my uncle is 85 yrs of age.. can you imagine how he felt.. he was beside himself!! He apologies and deletes the photo to then have the bill slapped on the table demanding he leaves and as he leaves the very rude young man say ‘AND DONT COMEBACK!!). My uncle has now been having heart palpitations and has not been well since the incident.. HOW GOD DAM RUDE ARE THOSE STAFF.. Would never go back there again and suggest nobody else does!!!.. they don’t deserve any customers after their actions.. not the way to deal with a poor 85 yr old !!!.. You should all be ashamed of...

Just had a lunch break here with my Wife n Niece (she was asleep though!). I had the brunch with 2 of the biggest best sausages ever put on a breakfast! The cream tea was spot on and milkshakes amazing (try the Biscoff). The Afternoon teas looked really good someone next to us had ordered one. Dogs are allowed they even have a small food menu for them! Kitchen stops at 1400, but cakes are available through till 1600. With the tea party in Lee closed now this is a ideal alternative. Parking is for the pub opposite but plenty of space along the road.

A handy midpoint for a four or so mile walk along the lovely Lee-on-the-Solent promenade. Initially intended to just have a coffee but the food on other's tables looked great so we had a savoury cheese scone, soft cheese and chilli jam 'cream tea'. I had a coffee and my beautiful wife had a pot of tea. Absolutely lovely - especially as I had all mine, half my wife's and a cup of tea as well as the coffee! £11 seems reasonable these days for such fare at a seaside cafe. Next time we'll be looking for a full meal rather than an impromptu snack!

First visit to this lovely area after a walk in and around the Meon shore. Had a breakfast, first class ingredients in an attentive comfortable environment. Restaurant is split into areas, dog friendly in the front part. I thought it was good value for the quality of the food. Breakfast menu until 11.30 I think but a good varied menu otherwise. Will definitely return. Car parking at rear, said it was for the boozer opposite but don’t think it’s particularly monitored, otherwise on street parking too.
