My husband and I have just got back from the supper club. The food was amazing and certainly worth what we paid if not more. We’ve been to places where it would easily cost double. My husband had the salmon starter which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the version. The toast was still warm and not over crisp. Both starters were a very generous portion size and tastes sublime. We both had the guinea fowl for our main again was cooked perfectly and all the flavours went together perfectly. There was a good amount but not so much you feel stuffed and not manage dessert. I had the tonka bean panna cotta with rhubarb and sorbet and my husband had the ginger sponge with custard. Both plates were decorated very prettily and the flavours were amazing. You can tell the chef has put a lot of love and care into the dishes and would easily rival and fancy London restaurant and all for a very reasonable price. The waiter and chef were very attentive but let us have space to have a conversation. We didn’t feel like we were being intruded upon and I loved the effort put into the table decorations especially the napkin which looked like a rose. We highly recommend the supper club and will certainly be back.

We've just moved to the area and needed to find a dog friendly cafe for some much needed emergency breakfast - all the positive reviews are spot on! You're welcomed with big smiles the moment you walk through the door and the staff couldn't be friendlier or more accommodating. I have a well behaved big dog and they were really, really lovely to him and even offered to cook him a sausage! The food itself was heavenly - I had the eggs royale, orange juice and an iced moccha (not on the menu but staff were very accommodating). The atmosphere is lovely, you can see people enjoy working here, the music isn't too loud either and it gets very busy for very obvious reasons! We'll probably become regulars!

What a gorgeous little cafe! I took my nan for brunch, it was our first time here. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We went on a Sunday so it was breakfast only all day. I had smashed avocado and egg on sourdough toast, which was absolutely delicious! My nan went for a pancake stack, smothered in Nutella! She polished the whole thing off! We then took a slice of yummy cake home for later! I noticed that it was also dog friendly, which is very useful for me as the cafe is close to Warsash waterfront, so it's perfect for a dog walk, followed by a yummy bite to eat afterwards! We'll definitely be returning! 😊

This is the second time I feel I have to leave a review for this business Sat down and it wasn’t busy staff asked if I could move to a table under the till which I didn’t want to as customers pass there payment over you whilst your eating Then she told me if they got busy then I would have to move as it was a table for 4 and there was only 2 of us I sat there as I have a bad back and other seating isn’t suitable With this I got up and told the staff that this isn’t acceptable and I’m leaving so they passed up on a bill that would have been about £40 All be it that 4 people may have sat there and had 4 coffees for £10 Very bad customer service This is not a Michelin star restaurant Just a walk in cafe I will not go there again !!

Your reply isn’t relevant this is the second time you said I would have to move if you were busy Can you imagine half way through lunch and you ask someone to move I can’t think of a establishment that would think of doing this let alone saying it to there customer The table by the till is badly placed in my opinion people stood wast high to you face handing over payment while you eating Take note of positive criticism the lady was rude and unprofessional I will not come...

Their supper club dinner tonight was outstanding! Gourmet, 5 star, amazing!

The starters were substantial and delicious (bowl of Tuscan bean soup with three pieces of bread and the venison pate in a Kilner jar were almost enough for a dinner in themselves). The mains were a triumph of classical cooking (perfectly seasoned guinea fowl with daphonoise potatoes and baby carrots and beef cheek - again very substantial). But dessert was what I will remember most. Warm ginger sponge cake with silky, vanilla crème anglaise. I savoured every bite!

And while the beer and wine list are sparse, the taste of all three we ordered was as good as any £20 bottle.

Our bill was £200 for four people. Everyone had three courses and at least one alcoholic drink. And three people had a hot drink at the end. £50 per person plus a tip for this level of culinary expertise is phenomenal.

Unfortunately, none of us thought to take pictures. We were just too excited about each course to...
