Kens Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Fareham

Ordered a takeaway last night as it was mine and my wife’s 3rd wedding anniversary. We really just kind of settled on a Kens as Maccies at Speedfield Park wasn’t delivering - again! We’ve ordered from here before and the food has been inconsistent: at best, it’s ‘meh’ but it can be awful. Last night’s was awful.

We ordered a range of items including a 1/4 pound cheese burger, hot wings, poppin’ chicken and a chicken shish kebab. I am know laying in bed with stomach cramps, nausea, fever and, let’s just say, bad guts. We weren’t expecting Michelin-quality food but to actually get food poisoning!!!

Enough is enough. I will never order...

I'm not one for hate. Or writing bad reviews. But unfortunately I felt it is necessary this time.

We thew the takeaway In the bin after trying to eat the chicken. The bitter oil on the chicken was off putting and the chicken didn't give me confidence that it was relatively new or fresh . I felt i was eating a dead animal (which I know sounds crazy)

Yep the chips were chewy and dry. As previous reviews have stated .. microwaved over and over.

Such a shame to have to write this review but please rethink your takeaway.

Hoping Kens can make changes for the future .otherwise they will run off 1st timers...

This is by far the best food I have ever consumed, Let alone chicken. When I walk in to my local Ken’s fried chicken and ask for that mega meal deal my heart begins thumping with sheer excitement. Whatever they put in that chicken gives me a hard on and don’t even get me started on the burger sauce, I would drink that straight from the bottle if I didn’t feel like I was wasting somebody else’s opportunity to experience it for themselves. The staff are just so welcoming and inviting I wish I could just give them all a great big sloppy kiss on the lips. Overall 5 stars. I would give it 6 stars if I...
