West Street Alehouse is the best beer spot in Fareham! The owners and staff are super knowledgeable and friendly, the selection of beers is always excellent, and the vibe is always good. Not only do they have excellent beers on tap, they also have a bottle shop where you can buy beers to take home. They always have offerings from local breweries too, so by supporting this local alehouse you're supporting loads of breweries.

A warm and friendly welcome from the staff and a great selection to beers. The staff were more than happy to help you when picking your drink as the huge range could be a bit overwhelming for those not familiar with craft beer. Can't wait to go back!

Our new fav place in fareham. And probably the only one 😁. The only thing missing is some music in the background. Would make us drink even more and add an atmosphere to the place

We have been visiting this taproom since it first opened. We pass many other pubs on the way, but we would much rather make the journey here. It's a bus journey for us to get to, so we don't visit as often as we would if we lived closer, but we get there as much as we can. The the owners Kat & Steve and barman Sam always greet us when we visit, tell us about the beers they currently have on tap and pass any knowledge about them onto us. They have all taken the time to chat to us about all things beer and lots of general chit chat and laughs too. I love the taprooms character, the amazing different beers that they have on, their regulars are so friendly and a great laugh. We have had many enjoyable times here. Thank you Kat, Steve and Sam for all your hard work in creating such a lovely place for us all to enjoy. We will see you...

West Street Ale House: A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the Town

The star of the show is the impressive selection of craft beers. The West Street Ale House boasts an extensive and carefully curated beer menu that caters to all tastes. From rich, malty stouts to crisp, refreshing IPAs, there's something for everyone.

The knowledgeable staff are always on hand to offer recommendations and guide you through their rotating selection of local and national brews.

While there are no food offerings other than bar snacks, bringing take out to it in is welcomed and plates/cutlery is available.

Overall, the West Street Ale House is a must-visit destination for anyone who appreciates great beer and cider with outstanding service. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is sure to leave a...

I use to love this place however I have been badly let down. I frequented the place exclusively (providing they were open) for almost as long as they have been there. All year they promised me a ticket for New Year's Eve. When I came to collect it I was told they had decided to sell it to someone else. When I voiced my disappointment on Facebook they compounded their unprofessional actions by deleting my comments and blocking me rather than trying to make amends for their wrong doing. I feel it's only proper to voice my experience in open forum where potential customers can be made aware of how they can expect to be treated. I'm very disappointed indeed and won't be going back.

Would you like to correct the lies in your...
